Medical disclaimer (Medicine if necessary)

We will be  long way from anywhere, and then an hour drive to the nearest drug store, so please be  sure you have an adequate supply of all the medication you may need.

Personal items

• sleeping bag (rated for 0 degrees).
• toiletries
• chapstick or some kind of lip balm with sun protection
• towel & wash cloth
• sunglasses
• camera

Clothing and Riding Gear variety (cold, warm & wet)

• Even in the middle of summer, when the hot sun goes down, it gets COLD.
• long sleeved shirts, light colored in spring and summer
• heavy sweater and/or wind breaker
• scarf or bandana for those dustier trils
• gloves
• walking shoes or hiking boots
• booth with heels for riding (hiking boots don't make iit, unless you don't want to ride)
• hat: Cowboy hats offer more protection from our intense sun
• canteen with a sturdy strap. The size we suggest is one quart or one liter

• rain gear - but please, not super-light "disposable ponchos.

Things to Forget:

• We have no electricity so leave those blow dryers, curling irons, shavers and radios at home. Your cellular phones may not work here either. Besides, you're on vacation!

• We all love our pets and do not like leaving them behind. We can't guarantee their safety and well being, so please leave them behind with someone that can.

We can plan a lot of activities, but we can't plan for pouring rain, driving snow, wind storms, fires or wreaks of any kind. They show up when they want.
